緣起

一群戰後嬰兒潮步入熟齡期的好友，多目睹過自家長輩老年入住機構的景況，感嘆之餘，內心也默默構築老年應有的生命樣貌願景。於是這群有共識的朋友集資籌設護家，期盼將高齡長者應享有的愜意溫馨、有品質及敬老的照護服務理念導入機構；打破長照機構負面刻板印象，展現全新的高齡長輩長照顧文化風格，讓每位高齡長者都能有尊嚴的平安生活，喜樂地送迎每一天。

「約翰樂活」一名來自於創辦人和多數董事們，秉持耶穌基督愛人如己的精神，期勉員工以耶穌最鍾愛的門徒「約翰」為榜樣，盡情地揮灑對天、地、人、事物之間自然的愛與關懷，發自內心疼人愛物惜福地服務高齡長輩，讓祥和與安心，洋溢在院民生活的每一方寸、每一刻之間。

John Lohas Nursing Home(JL) is a a holistic based senior living community that offers continuum life care that includes independent living, assisted living, nursing and memory care services.

This first class, modern, warm and inviting senior community has been the vision of Dr. Grant Lee that took 10 years to design and build.
 

The facility is designed to have a strong sense of community offering residents choices to spend their time, such as sunning in the well-designed outdoor courtyard that offers therapeutic garden with walking paths or socializing in the centralized common areas...... Nutritional meals are prepared by top chef focused on using fresh and seasonal ingredients.

JL maybe new, but the staff is experienced, dedicated and well-trained, professional staff including licensed MD, registered nurses, physical therapists.........
 

This is a senior citizen community at its best, as stated by Dr. Lee “this is the place that I would like to live as a senior”.
